SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

£90 - £100 per day | Bushey, Hertfordshire

We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist secondary school in Bushey, supporting secondary school students with additional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference, helping pupils build confidence, develop independence and overcome barriers to learning.

The Role

Working alongside teaching staff, you will:

• Support pupils in lessons, one-to-one and in small groups.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Encourage engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt your approach to meet individual needs.

About You

Previous experience in SEN, autism, SEMH, education, care, youth work or behaviour support is beneficial. Candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
