Salary: Up to £55,000 Depending on Experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:00

THE ROLE
As an Experienced Multi-Skilled MET Technician, you will be responsible for the removal, repair, replacement and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles.
Working as part of an experienced bodyshop team, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are correctly stripped, repaired and rebuilt to manufacturer and industry standards, while maintaining excellent quality and efficiency throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
andmiddot;Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim strip and fit work on accident-damaged vehicles
andmiddot;Remove and refit vehicle components including bumpers, lights, panels, airbags, interior trim and associated systems
andmiddot;Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults resulting from accident damage
andmiddot;Complete accurate and efficient vehicle dismantling and rebuilding
andmiddot;Work closely with Panel Technicians, Paint Technicians, Estimators and Workshop Controllers
andmiddot;Follow manufacturer repair methods and ensure all work meets required safety and quality standards
andmiddot;Use appropriate diagnostic equipment and specialist tools where required
andmiddot;Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Multi-Skilled MET Technician with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering quality accident repairs.
andmiddot;Proven experience as an MET Technician within an automotive accident repair bodyshop
andmiddot;Strong mechanical, electrical and trim repair knowledge
andmiddot;Experience with strip and fit, component removal and vehicle rebuilding
andmiddot;Confident working on modern vehicles and associated electrical systems
andmiddot;Ability to diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions
andmiddot;Good understanding of manufacturer repair methods and safety procedures
andmiddot;IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
andmiddot;Able to work efficiently within a busy production environment
andmiddot;Reliable, conscientious and professionally minded
andmiddot;Strong team player with a positive and proactive approach
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence preferred
