My client is a specialist engineering company operating within the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of Mechanical Fitters on client sites.
• Work hands-on alongside the team, overseeing mechanical installation, repairs and maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate projects, ensuring the correct resources, materials and equipment are available.
• Carry out mechanical works including pump replacements, pipework installation, valve fault-finding and equipment alignment.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and project managers.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee site health and safety, including RAMS, permits to work and site inspections.

Requirements

• Substantial experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally within the water industry.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team on site.
• Valid CSCS card (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel across the UK and stay away when required.
