Mechanical Project Manager - Data Centre

Location: Hounslow

Contract Duration: Long Term

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical packages on a large-scale data centre project in Hounslow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installations, including HVAC, chilled water, cooling systems and associated pipework.

• Oversee mechanical subcontractors, site supervisors and installation teams.

• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with electrical, CSA and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Monitor installation progress, quality, health and safety, and compliance with project specifications.

• Manage technical submittals, RFIs, design coordination and subcontractor performance.

• Oversee mechanical testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover to the client.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services, particularly HVAC and cooling systems.

• Experience managing mechanical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover.

• Strong subcontractor management, programming and commercial awareness.

• SMSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications preferred.
