LIFT SERVICE ENGINEER



Manchester | Liverpool | North Wales

Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
(Depending on experience & qualifications)

Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a large, established nationwide lift engineering company. The role covers Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and surrounding areas, offering a manageable service route, strong technical support and long-term career progression.

THE ROLE

• PPM and servicing of passenger and goods lifts.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding and minor repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and safely restore equipment to service.
• Identify defective components and report repair requirements.
• Maintain service records and follow current safety regulations.
• Manage an allocated service route independently

• 1-in-7 on-call rota
• Up to approx. -2,650 per year standby/on-call earnings
• Additional payment per call-out
• Approx. £2,000 annual profit-share bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Planned preventative maintenance and servicing of passenger and goods lifts.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault-finding and minor repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and return equipment to service safely and efficiently.
• Identify worn or defective components and report repair requirements.
• Service and maintain a variety of lift manufacturers and systems.
• Work independently across an allocated service route.
