NEW HSE MANAGER JOB IN WHITSTABLE

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of HSE across a- environment.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance and Automation Manager, you will play a key role in developing a proactive health, safety and environmental culture, making sure the business stays compliant with regulations and keeps improving.

Responsibilities as an HSE Manager in Whitstable

• Lead the development and implementation of a positive Health, Safety & Environmental culture, driving continuous improvement across the business.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory health, safety, environmental and workplace welfare legislation.
• Manage and maintain [ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / other] certifications, keeping systems effective and compliant.
• Develop and monitor HSE targets, objectives and improvement programmes to improve performance and minimise environmental impact.
• Provide expert guidance, advice and support to leaders and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Requirements as an HSE Manager in Whitstable

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Proven experience in a similar Health, Safety & Environmental management role. [Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.]
