Graduate Structural Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil or Structural Engineering graduate to begin their career with a consultancy that delivers a wide variety of projects across the UK, ranging from residential developments to complex commercial, industrial and infrastructure schemes.
Working alongside experienced Chartered Engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the design process while receiving structured mentoring and support towards professional development.
Responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Assisting with the design and analysis of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
andmiddot;Producing structural calculations and technical reports.
andmiddot;Preparing drawings and coordinating designs using industry-standard software.
andmiddot;Attending site visits and inspections to support project delivery.
andmiddot;Working closely with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
andmiddot;Supporting senior engineers on projects across residential, commercial, education, industrial and public sector developments.
andmiddot;Developing your technical knowledge with the aim of progressing towards Chartership.
To be considered, you should have:
andmiddot;A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
andmiddot;A genuine passion for structural engineering and design.
andmiddot;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
andmiddot;Good communication and teamwork abilities.
andmiddot;An eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
andmiddot;Knowledge of structural design software is beneficial but not essential.
