Class 2 Driver in Sheffield
Job Description
Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a permanent, full-time position with a well-established and reputable company based in Sheffield.
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for stable, year-round employment, regular work and competitive rates of pay.
Working pattern:
Any 5 out of 7 days per week.
Available start times:
Night shifts: between 23:59 and 03:00
Afternoon shifts: between 14:00 and 16:00
Pay rates (PAYE): - not included holiday pay.
Days: £15.11 per hour
Nights: £16.92 per hour
Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.
Key responsibilities:
Driving Class 2 (LGV C) vehicles and safely delivering parcels to Delivery Units
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times
Completing and maintaining accurate paperwork
Following company procedures and all relevant road safety regulations
Candidate requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC card
Valid Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 6 months' experience as a Class 2 driver
No more than 6 penalty points for minor driving offences
Ability to successfully complete an on-site driving assessment
