This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a successful store, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team and delivering an exceptional customer journey. Offering a salary of up to £32,000, this role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Opportunity

As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. You'll lead by example on the shop floor, inspire your team and contribute to achieving commercial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delivering strong sales results and KPI performance.
• Lead, motivate and coach team members to maximise engagement and productivity.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring service standards are consistently exceeded.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and store compliance.
• Assist with stock management, rota planning and resource allocation.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on performance and development.

About You

• Previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader position within retail.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of sales-driving activities.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident leading a team and developing colleagues through coaching and support.
• Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
• Able to make decisions and take ownership when managing the store.
• Energetic, positive and driven to achieve results.
