Area Sales Manager - KBB

Components for Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms Manufacturing - North East England & Scotland

Candidate Location - Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, York

£36,000 - £46,000 Basic Salary, up to 50% Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

If so, here's an opportunity for you. A leading provider of KBB components is growing and seeking a driven, professional ASM to join them as part of a longer-term vision.

Your Role as an Area Sales Manager:

• You will be taking ownership of your own territory, nurturing existing accounts (40%), prospecting and spotting new opportunities (60%).
• Consultatively selling as the product range is at the premium end of the sector.
• Dealing with customers from large international KBB manufacturers, through to small, boutique specialists.
• You'll be handling objections and using your sales experience to overcome these in a professional manner.
• Represent the client at trade shows a couple of times per year.
• Keeping a close eye on market trends and changes.

Ideal Background for the Area Sales Manager Position:

• A background in B2B sales to the KBB and furniture sector.
• Able to sell premium products rather than race to the bottom pricing.
• Professional, accountable, and honest.
• Covering the North East of England & Scotland, you must live on territory.
• You must have a full driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

The Package for the Area Sales Manager:

• £36,000 - £46,000 Basic Salary.
• Above-average bonus scheme (up to 50%).
